Botanix

The former Botanix Lifestyle Garden Centre at Wellington Point holds a special place in the hearts of our community. Closed to the public for almost 15 years, this landmark site is turning over a new leaf.

Following extensive community engagement and master planning during 2022 -2024, the Botanix masterplan was approved Redland City Council in July 2024.

The Botanix masterplan will shape the creation of an exciting new neighbourhood in Wellington Point. Botanix will be the first of its kind residential community for the Redlands, providing greater housing choices, as well as new commercial and public spaces for the whole community to enjoy.

This approval allows us to now prepare the next stage of council development applications for site works, a new public park and the first stage of residences in the first stage of Botanix. We expect that these approvals will be obtained by 2026.

The first stage of Botanix is likely to include terrace homes and freestanding small lot homes at the western end of the site adjacent to a new park and koala habitat including the retention of mature trees.
